Round led by Gaea Ventures with Becker Ventures, GTM Ventures, family offices and angels; early access waitlist passes 13,000

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Eden AI Labs Inc. today announced it has raised $1.5 million to build a personal AI agent that is intuitive, powerful and accessible. The round was led by Gaea Ventures, with participation from Becker Ventures, GTM Ventures, other family offices and angel investors.
Eden is the most intuitive personal assistant powered by AI agents that work across apps and navigate the web to get things done for the user. Eden can book flights, reserve restaurants, order food, schedule appointments, pay bills and more. More than 13,000 people have signed up for early access.
“We believe the biggest technology shift of our lifetime has the potential to revolutionise the way we work, the way we live and the way we transact,” the company said. Roughly $107.5 trillion in transactions is processed online each year, while AI agents today handle an estimated 0.0001% of global transaction volume, according to company estimates. Eden expects that number to increase a hundredfold by 2028 and a thousandfold by 2030.
The company argues that current AI usage captures only a fraction of the technology’s capability. “Most AI interactions today are simple: you ask a question and get back an answer,” Eden said. “That only uses a fraction of the capabilities of AI. It’s akin to buying a PC and only opening the calculator app.”
Eden’s operating thesis is that when friction is removed, new markets are created. Its stated mission is to build products and technology that enrich people’s lives, and its goal is an AI companion that understands the user and can do work and transact independently on their behalf.
The problem Eden is targeting
A typical smartphone carries around eighty apps, and modern life is a constant barrage of notifications pulling attention away. In the company’s framing, technology should enable users rather than distract them, freeing them for what matters, connecting them to people and helping them communicate and decide well. “The answer isn’t another new app,” Eden said. “It’s a totally new way of doing things.”
Eden is designed to be an intelligent assistant and a personal companion. The Eden assistant is able to securely make payments autonomously on behalf of the user. A digital assistant that grows more intelligent with the user, navigates the applications they already use and handles routine tasks, that as the company describes becomes “the front door to your digital life.” While none of the individual tasks the agent does, those like booking travel, reserving restaurants, replying to a friend are life changing on their own, many take 10 to 15 minutes to complete manually, and collectively they consume hours each day.
Built to transact, not just answer
Eden contends that commerce is shifting toward agents, and that is why the product was built to complete transactions rather than simply retrieve information, and answer questions. The company says it has built a secure and easy way for agents to book and pay for flights, hotels, concert tickets and more, turning a user’s plans into completed actions.
Eden also positions itself around what it calls a more human intelligence, one that anticipates needs and is personalized to individual preferences and taste. The company says it pursues that goal through attention to detail and careful crafting of the user experience, to the point where the technology becomes effortlessly invisible.
Business model
Eden is free for users. The company charges a small transaction fee on card purchases made by the agent, such as flights, hotels, food delivery and similar purchases.
Use of funds
The new capital will be used to expand the team, scale compute capacity, and build partnerships with strategic payment providers.
