Tegria, a global healthcare services and solutions company, today announced the acquisition of CloudWave, a full-service cybersecurity, cloud hosting, and managed IT services provider built exclusively for the healthcare industry.
The strategic combination enhances Tegria’s hosting infrastructure and expands its service offering to include specialized cybersecurity operations, bringing advanced data protection, threat intelligence, and unmatched enterprise cloud management to healthcare organizations.
“Healthcare organizations face unprecedented operational complexity and heightened cybersecurity risks,” said Craig Mengert, Chief Executive Officer, Tegria. “By bringing CloudWave into the Tegria family, we are strengthening our ability to deliver highly secure, scalable, and resilient hosting solutions. Our combined capabilities create an end-to-end solutions partner equipped to support healthcare organizations through every stage of their digital evolution.”
The acquisition expands Tegria’s hosting and infrastructure capabilities while integrating CloudWave’s security operations center (SOC) expertise into Tegria’s managed services portfolio. Clients will benefit from expanded resources, broader technical capabilities, and accelerated innovation, while maintaining uninterrupted service from their trusted teams.
CloudWave’s CEO Erik Littlejohn will join the organization as President of Tegria’s Enterprise Technical Solutions and continue to grow Tegria’s offerings, including hosting, cybersecurity, data and analytics, Tier 1 application support, and more.
“I am excited about what this means for our team and our clients,” said Littlejohn. “Joining Tegria allows us to scale our security and cloud hosting solutions across a broader platform while remaining deeply committed to our core mission of supporting healthcare.”
This is Tegria’s first acquisition since becoming a portfolio company of Altaris, a New York-based investment firm, earlier this year.
