NIC MAP, the leading provider of data for the senior housing industry, launched the NIC MAP Connector, a new capability that enables senior housing operators, investors and developers to access NIC MAP data directly within their own AI tools.

NIC MAP tested seven leading AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Z.ai on Artificial Analysis’s Optima benchmarking platform. After asking AI models for senior housing data, which use the public web alone, the models answered with 36 percent accuracy after an average of 61 web searches per question. When asking the same questions using the NIC MAP Connector, the models answered with 98 percent accuracy. Every answer drawn from NIC MAP data was correct. The gap in accuracy was widest when answering questions on occupancy, which isn’t publicly available data: the results were 14 percent accurate when using AI/public web and 97 percent accurate when using the NIC MAP Connector.
