The Fair Labor Association (FLA) announced today that its board of directors has voted to award Fair Labor Accreditation to Delta Galil, a vertically integrated intimates and activewear company with a focus on high-tech apparel that is based in Caesarea, Israel, and New York, USA. Delta Galil owns 12 significant brands: Schiesser, P.J. Salvage, 7 For All Mankind, Splendid, Bare Necessities, Organic Basics, Passionata, Delta, Fix, Panta Rei, and, under Eminence Group, Eminence and Athena. Additionally, Delta Galil operates as a private label manufacturer for global retailers and holds several licensed brand relationships.
The decision by the FLA board follows a rigorous, multi-year review of Delta Galil’s business systems for compliance with international labor standards designed to protect workers in its global supply chains. Delta Galil sources from 173 Tier One facilities (163 contracted and 10 owned) across 30 countries.
“I congratulate Delta Galil on achieving Fair Labor Accreditation,” said FLA President and CEO Jeff Vockrodt. “The company has concretely demonstrated its commitment to labor rights, and its extensive ESG team has been a driving force and partner in Delta Galil’s accreditation journey.”
Delta Galil CEO Isaac Dabah stated, “At Delta Galil, we believe that how we do business matters just as much as what we achieve. For 50 years, we have been committed to our associates and to the communities in which we operate, believing that responsible business starts with respect for people and a commitment to making a positive difference. Fair Labor Accreditation recognizes this long-standing commitment and reinforces our responsibility to uphold these values across our global operations and supply chain. We are proud of this milestone, while recognizing that responsible business is an ongoing commitment—one that calls on us to learn, improve, and strengthen our practices every day.”
Since becoming an FLA member in 2013, Delta Galil has continuously improved its social compliance program and kept pace with the changes to FLA standards enacted over the intervening years. The accreditation report details FLA’s evaluation of Delta Galil’s social compliance program through October 2026.
Highlights of Delta Galil’s Fair Labor Accreditation include:
- Company-wide commitment: Delta Galil’s leadership is highly committed to fostering a responsible and ethical supply chain. The company’s CEO and sourcing and production leaders are involved in sourcing decisions that prioritize improving working conditions. They also support investments in the social compliance program and improvements to monitoring systems and platforms.
- Supplier relationships: Delta Galil focuses on developing long-standing relationships with its large and diverse supplier base. The company regularly engages with its suppliers to discuss challenges that may impact production processes and workers.
- Compliance data management: Delta Galil continuously develops and enhances its compliance data management and tracking systems. The company uses multiple third-party systems and platforms to record and track facilities’ compliance and workplace information and to conduct risk analysis. Delta Galil shares this data with its customers, providing a holistic overview of each facility and enabling comprehensive monitoring.
Fair Labor Accreditation is the gold standard for human rights due diligence in global supply chains. It helps investors, consumers, regulators, and ratings agencies make informed choices by evaluating a company’s business practices against the highest international labor standards.
A rigorous, multi-year process that evaluates companies’ systems to protect workers, it is the only comprehensive program of its kind that is based on international standards and frameworks such as the International Labour Organization, UN Guiding Principles, the OECD, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Fair Labor Accredited companies are evaluated on an ongoing basis and must demonstrate continuous improvement in addressing working conditions and protecting workers’ rights. To see a list of Fair Labor Accredited companies and to learn more, please visit www.fairlabor.org.
