NASHVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Country artist Ryan Broshear captures the comforts of home, the pull of the past and the ache of lost love on his forthcoming three-song EP, Heaven For A Good Old Boy, arriving Friday, Nov. 13. Following the title track’s Oct. 9 debut, Broshear releases “Stuck In My Memory” today [here], offering another glimpse into the collection before “If Whiskey Were You” completes the EP.
Across its three tracks, Broshear explores what it means to hold on to the things that matter, and to live with the things that are hard to let go.
On “Stuck In My Memory,” a drive toward the family farm brings the past into focus. Familiar sights and the scent of honeysuckle give way to recollections of an old front porch, a teenage pickup truck and a fishing trip with Grandpa that carries unexpected emotional weight. The song captures the pull of returning home and the bittersweet realization that some of the moments we treasure most can only be revisited in memory.
The EP’s title track, “Heaven For A Good Old Boy,” finds its version of paradise in everyday pleasures: a country band playing Haggard, a quiet morning on the water and a life built around hard work and family. Its backwoods imagery sets the stage for a collection grounded in familiar places and personal connections.
Closing track “If Whiskey Were You” turns toward heartbreak, using whiskey, bourbon and tequila as a framework for a relationship’s disappointments. Beneath the barroom imagery is a narrator wrestling with loneliness and discovering that an old love’s memory is harder to quiet than he hoped.
